Sunday at the Met–Playing with Pictures: The Art of Victorian Photocollage
March 7, 2:00 p.m.
Aristocratic Victorian women experimented with photocollage, creating whimsical and fantastical compositions that sparkle with intellect, creativity, and sharp wit. This lecture event is being held in conjunction with the special exhibition Playing with Pictures: The Art of Victorian Photocollage and is free with Museum admission.

Calling all Demigods and Mortals!
Join us on Sunday, March 14, for a day-long festival inspired by the best-selling book series Percy Jackson & The Olympians. See our program (PDF) for a full schedule of free family programs in the Greek and Roman Galleries, as well as information about a related teacher workshop, gallery talk, and guided tour.

At 1:00 p.m. Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson series, will talk about gods, heroes, his love of Greek mythology, and why he chose to feature the Met in The Lightning Thief. Tickets to this event are $15. Purchase tickets now.
